Professional Development for District Teachers

5th grade teachers received three days of training and planning for the books that they were teaching this year including Prime Time, Bits and Pieces 1, Shapes and Designs, and Data About Us. Teachers could also attend up to nine additional hours of meetings, working with grade level teachers on the CMP2 curriculum.

Middle School teachers attended a week long training in August and received an additional 2.5 days of training during the school year along with teachers from the North Thurston School District. Teachers could also attend up to 12 additional hours of meetings, working with grade level teachers on the CMP2 curriculum.
